The inherent stability of this wide-band antenna makes constant retuning unnecessary. Simply attach your coax to the EzMilitary Antenna, run it to a wide-band antenna tuner, and tune for the lowest SWR (typically 1.2:1 after tuning). The system is highly reliable, as there are no active components or control circuits in the solid state Alpha Match to maintain. Because of its direct coaxial feed design, more transmitter power is fed to the antenna radiator more safely, than in conventional systems. The wideband design, coupled with a proprietary loading design includes a way to attach the included counterpoise kit, provides the highest Q possible while isolating the antenna system impedance from changing earth conditions.
