The useable frequency range of 144-146 MHz makes the 215DX suitable for 144 MHz EME and terrestrial DX, and 144-146 MHz satellite communications. The 215DX antennas may be easily stacked for increased performance. The 215DX mechanical design features a 6 section boom which can be easily disassembled and reassembled for portable operations.
