10 khz antenna

10 khz radio astronomy global lightning detection antenna. This factory tuned antenna receives at 10 kHz in the very low frequency VLF band, which is used for lightning detection and other research applications.

Lightning static in this band can be heard from around the globe day and night. Features a 50 ohm BNC Jack output.
