We offer you a broadband professional vertical HF antenna. The antenna was originally intended for the R359 military radio direction finder.

The radio direction finder operated in the frequency range 1.5-26MHz. As the antenna was intended for peening devices, it was designed to have as even characteristics and low SWR as possible.

The antenna consists of three vertical elements made of duralumin. The elements are divided into isolated sections containing matching circuits that equalize the antenna's characteristics across the entire band. Two elements are 320 cm long, one element is 280 cm long.

The total length of the antenna is 920 cm. Diameter of the 2 lower elements 60 mm, upper 42 mm. The upper element of the antenna is finished with an apical capacitance in the form of three guy wire elements. The antenna is equipped with an insulated base and two sets of counterweights. The antenna output is symmetrical to avoid interference and ground influence.

The offered antenna is perfect as a receiving antenna, covering virtually the entire HF range. The antenna is brand new, has never been disassembled (all elements in original grease).

NOTE: After disassembling the matching circuits and replacing the LC elements with elements adapted to higher power, the antenna works great as a transmitting antenna (also broadband). The antenna is also adapted to be placed on a standard foldable military mast, then it is above ground level and local obstacles do not affect the antenna's characteristics.
