Chameleon Antenna CHA-HYBRID Portable HF (6 - 160M) Antenna System, w/ 30ft Wire. The CHA HYBRID SERIES Base is designed to enhance the capabilities of the common HF radio application by allowing faster tuning operation across the HF bands including MARS/CAP frequencies. This antenna base has an integral broadband impedance matching network (transformer 5:1) allowing broadband antenna tuning. An external antenna tuner is required to provide a low VSWR.
The unit is water resistant. Can be used with the CHA MIL, CHA MIL EXT and the CHA CAP-HAT. Power: 500W SSB or 250W CW. The antenna system consists of. 1 X HYBRID Matching Unit Base. Copper Clad KEVLAR PTFE (Teflon) (-70°C to 150°C) wire.
