CAT-283 has a built-in duplexer inside and 144/430MHz comes out as one. (MP-NP50cm cable) is required if the connection to the radio is an N-type connector. If the cable terminal on the antenna side is MP, it can be connected directly, but if it is NP type, a conversion connector (MP-NJ connector) is required.
