I Specialise in antenna systems for the outdoor radio operator such as SOTA, DXpedition, DX Adventure, Portable, eXtreme, static mobile and many more. There are 11 models to choose from that between them, cover 80m to 6m, RHA68, 4m, 2m and German Freenet. Ranging from the Classic T2LT for 11m that has been updated with high quality materials and made even more lightweight to more advanced antennas that have a wide bandwidth for freedom of operation. Most of the antennas are advanced coaxial designs, some based on well known homebase antenna systems and others are completely unique. The DRX111 Aurora HF doesn't make use of coax but makes use of an advanced multi-impedance ratio transformer that allows the use of 4:1, 9:1 and 16:1 transformation ratios in a single unit. As standard the antenna is able to be used on the 80m band but the antenna is also infinitely customisable with longer radiators (useful guide in instruction document), versatile mounting options and the addition of counterpoises, radials or ground connections. The transformer box is 100% waterproof employing the use of a Lloyds Approved Marine Grade Fibreglass Resin. The DRX111 Aurora HF Portable Antenna requires an ATU for optimum VSWR response. Designed to be lightweight and pack up small they still pack a punch.

They are generally mounted on telescopic fibreglass masts such as those produced by Sotabeams, Spiderbeam and DX Commander. They are also designed to be versatile and be mounted in a variety of ways, including horizontal or hanging from trees. People, due to planning restrictions or who have worries about neighbours, can also benefit from these systems, and many have with my antennas installed in gardens, loft spaces and trees already.

I subjected the equipment to rigorous field testing over a period of several months. During testing the DRX111 Livewire 5/8 10/11m prototypes were responsible for some true DX contacts to 173 division on 11m and PY (Brazil) on 10m. The DRX111 Aurora HF was responsible for a contact into VK (Australia) from a Welsh Hillside during field tests. It has also worked the World on data modes. I expect top quality from my equipment and so should you. Each one is built and tested to order by myself. If its not good enough for me it doesn't leave the workshop. The last thing you need at 3000ft ASL is a rubbish antenna!
