For sale here is our End Fed Half Wave (EFHW) antenna for 10m-80m. Mechanically is an end fed but electrically will operate as a full half wave on your desired operating band.

No counterpoise needed but grounding is recommended on permanent installations. Antenna can be installed: horizontal, vertical, inverted L, sloper and even zig zag. Tipical SWR readings in most bands and installation permit a tuner free operation on all resonant bands from 10m-80m (non harmonics related bands like 60m and 30m can be used with the help of an antenna tuner). Need a half wave antenna for 60m operation? Just add a wire element of 88' (half wave length of the 60m band).

You choose your hf band coverage depending the half wave wire length used. +/- 66' feet will give you a 40m half wave antenna and provide harmonics for 20m/15m/10m. For 80m just add +/- 134'. With +/- 134' you will get 80m/40m/20m/17m/15m/12m/11m/10m by harmonics. Please take a look to the sample swr readings using 134Ft of wire element.

We include: (1) ferrule, (1) thimble, (2) ring terminal and (2) military grade zip ties to help build the wire element. Because all the bands possibilities we don't include the wire element. The transformer box will work as a half wave antenna using the conventional half wave calculation of 468 / freq in Mhz Ex. For 40m calculate 468 / 7.150 = 65.45 feet.

After adding your calculated wire length just trim the wire to fine tune your antenna. For full coverage an antenna tuner maybe required. Includes simple to follow installation instructions. High temperature resistant magnet wire used to wind the internal dual core transformer. All internal connections are crimped and soldered.
