The controller unit contains five switches: Power, Preamp, Tune/Broadband, SW/MW, and MW Filter. The tuning part has two tuning knobs: Tune and Fine Tune. After coarse tuning, the Fine Tune knob can be used for more precise resonance tuning. The power supply voltage at the controller end is 12-15V/200mA (internal positive and external negative), and BNC port is connected to the receiver.
MW Filter switch can attenuate the medium wave band to reduce the interference to the shortwave low-frequency band. The working principle of the antenna is to tune the natural resonance and increase the amplification, and it can switch between the Tune/Broadband modes. It is also equipped with a separate preamplifier of about 15dB to make up for the lack of gain in the wideband mode, or the weak signal secondary amplification in the tuning mode to view the signal peak value through a spectrum for tuning and adjustment, and finally turn off the preamplifier. Strong signals can turn off the preamplifier for a better listening experience. The amplifier unit has been glued and waterproof.
It can be installed outdoors with professional support rods and antenna rotators, or it can be installed indoors with a tripod. The ring body can be multi-core flexible cords, coaxial feeders of different specifications, etc. Matched with terminal blocks to connect to the amplifier terminal.
