Today I have for sale. The mast is ST1 type. Produced by the famous American company CLARK. The mast is suitable for mounting directional antennas. NOTE: Thanks to its construction, rotating the lower mast segment causes the top element to rotate, ie behaves as if it were a single pipe.
On the upper mast segment, the lashing attachment is fitted with a rotating thrust bearing so that when the trolley is rotating, the lashing stays in the same position. The mast has a height of 8 m. Mast length in the folded state is 2.1 m.
The thickest diameter is 76 mm. The thinnest diameter is 26 mm. The mast is provided at the bottom with mounting brackets, as well as a hose connection and a pneumatic valve. The nominal mast pressure required to decompose it is 1.5 atmospheres (1.5 kg / cm2).
No problem it can be done with a miniature compressor for pumping wheels (such as 12V). Of course the compressor does not have to be switched on all the time. Just pour the mast once in 2-3 days. Due to the fact that the mast is constantly under pressure it does not penetrate into the moisture, which makes it very resistant.You can also lock the mast mechanically, just need a tie (cybant) with a rubber cap. CLARK allows such a solution. It can be mounted on VHF antennas or lighter KF antennas. It is great when extended as a VERTICAL type antenna.
