Up for sale is this super nice Palstar AT4K antenna tuner that has never had RF run through it! These tuners are built like tanks and include a roller inductor for matching. The wafer switches are rated at 7Kv. See below for specifications and features. Some small scratches on top panel, but otherwise like new [see photos].

Comes with original manual and original 110V wall-plug power supply. One of the all-time great antenna tuners, the Palstar AT4K 2500 Watt Antenna Tuners helped build the Palstar reputation for high-quality and "Built-Like-A-Tank" durability. Unwilling to rest on their laurels over the years, Palstar has added new features to the classic.

The most recent addition to the AT4K is the Active Peak and Peak Hold Wattmeter, identical to that used in their PM2000A Wattmeter. The frequency-compensated, lighted, dual-movement SWR/wattmeter may be switched between 300 watt and 3,000 watt scales for peak or average power readings. Now, the selection between unbalanced or balanced output is relay switched with a front panel control on the AT4K, eliminating the need to place a jumper strap on the back panel to make the changeover. Two coaxial and one bypass unbalanced output are handled by the extra heavy-duty ceramic 6-position 7 kV 10 Ampere RF switch assembly. The AT4K surpasses antiquated unbalanced tuners that were built with a 4:1 balun at the OUTPUT of the matching network.

In those tuners, the balun was exposed to a wide range of impedance and reactance that it was never designed to handle. The AT4K T-matching network utilizes a 1:1 unbalanced-to-balanced transformer in the INPUT of the network. When the network is properly tuned, an impedance of 50 ohms is presented to the input and output of the balun, which allows it to properly perform its important transformation job. Thick, iridite-treated aluminum chassis, with durable powder coating on front.
