Take note wire is White. The SWL-4 is a 50 foot (18 AWG gauges), end-fed shortwave listener's antenna designed to perform well on the shortwave from. The antenna lead in cable is high quality RG174/U coaxial 25 foot long and terminated by a choice of 5 different connections (Specify when ordered).

The lead in coax is also used as a counterpoise for the antenna. A connection to ground is therefore not required but the stainless steel eyelet is internally grounded if required, can be grounded if reception is noisy, static or experimental.

It features special matching network transformer (10:1) high impedance 500 to 50 ohm to connect directly to antenna input of the receiver. The SWL-4 is complete and ready to go for receive only and can be used indoors or outdoors, portable or fixed and completely waterproof.

Available connection to be specify. If ordered with no mention, there will be. BNC (male) for modern receiver. 1/8 plug for portable type receiver.
