With Video Nice KENWOOD AT-230 HF Ham Radio Antenna Tuner 1.8MHz-30MHz

Here's a nice old Kenwood AT-230 HF tuner. The video shows it in action using my Kenwood 430S on 40M.

The video shows it first being calibrated, then a flip of the switch to SWR where you can see it dropped to near zero when adjusted properly. I use a 100 Watt light bulb as a test load so there's some SRW involved to let the tuner do its thing. If you just use a 50 Ohm dummy load the tuner essentially does nothing! It's VERY clean inside and no "burnt offerings" were seen on any of the band switch contacts.

It may or may not work at all when you get it!
