A small motor built into the antenna changes the effective length of the antenna itself to match and efficiently radiate the transmitted radio waves. A single antenna covers the frequency range from 7MHz to 430MHz (except for the 10/18/24MHz band). It can be easily installed on a balcony to enjoy HF operation as well as in a car. The ATAS-120A cannot be used simultaneously with the VL-1000, FC-50, or FC-40. Operational frequency band: 7/14/21/28/50/144/430MHz band. Compatible transceivers: FTDX10 series, FT-991A series, FT-891 series, FT-857D series, FT-450D series.
