When switching antennas it will lower the SWR the transmitter sees by just pressing the tune button and waiting a few seconds. The difference is easily seen on the SWR meter. This tuner has always been in an air conditioned environment.
I used it with and Icom 706 Mk2 which was a backup radio that may also be auctioned. It saw relatively little use so it looks like new. It is in the original box shown in photos.
