MCR COMMUNICATIONS G5RV DOUBLE SIZE TOP BAND 160 METERS to 10 full Size Superior Poly Weave Wire Antenna This G5RV Double-Size HF Wire Antenna is an HF Amateur Band, Receive and Transmit Antenna, covering 160m to 10m bands. Its overall length is 204ft , and should be fed with good quality 50 Ohms coaxial cable (recommended feed length of 60 or 120 ft). The ribbon cable should hang downwards as it forms part of the radiating antenna.

But can be bent if you req. To achieve the best results, this antenna should be mounted as high as possible, either horizontally or in an inverted Vformation, with the center mounted at least 60 ft from the ground. The superior Double size G5RV comes fully assembled & ready to go. All eyelet and connections are now soldered.

Also, the Poly Weave wire will not kink and is extremely strong. Great for use where space is limited, good for garden tree/pole or attic installation and is also highly recommended for Short Wave listening.
