Military Portable NVIS Antenna AS-2259/GR. Condition: This appears to be new, setup once or very slightly used. No major dents, dings or scratches.
Some superficial scuffs and scratches. See picture for general condition. According to a web search - this antenna was in use during the War in Iraq by US Military. The AS-2259 NVIS antenna, manufactured originally by Collins Radio (Model 637-K1) and now by Telex Wireless (Model 1990) as well as Harris Communications (Model RF-1936). The hollow mast also serves as a low loss feed line.
This is intended for the military HF bands but can be used with a tuner or modified for ham bands. There is a lot of information on google about this antenna. Contents: Capacitor only - see picture.
