RF CHOKE BALUN 160-6 meters

This is an air choke balun. It is designed to keep RF from returning back down the coaxial cable beyond the point where the choke is installed. This returning RF is often referred to as "common mode current". I recommend using either this choke balun or our line isolator if you are using one of our end fed antennas. It will keep RF off of your radio and tuner chassis. It can be used on just about any type of antenna that is coaxial cable fed. It works on any frequency from 160 meters to 6 meters.
