Sigma EURO-COMM DELTA - 40 HP Multi Band Full Wave Loop HF Antenna/ Aerial. Over 30 Years Experience - Est 1990.
Born in the heart of Birmingham! Want to see our Full Range. Multi Band Full Wave Loop Antenna Wire Antenna. The DELTA-40HP is a full wave loop designed to operate on 40m (7MHz), 15m (21MHz) and 10m (28MHz) without an ATU and other bands with an ATU. There is a 4:1 balun at the feedpoint enabling it to be fed directly with 50ohm coax - RG-213 or Mini 8 is probably the best but other variations of coax may.
Be used so long as they are of a 50ohm impedance. The loop comes complete with three insulators to provide anchor points. It may be mounted flat (horizontal) or raised to a vertical or near vertical postion. It may be configured as either a square loop (Quad) or equilateral triangle (Delta). Configured as a delta loop or equilateral triangle, if laid flat will be good for near DX. If vertical, or near vertical. Will provide low angle radiation which is good for long range DX in the direction of the loop (looking straight on at the front) and near DX off the sides. FULL WAVE QUAD LOOP If laid horizontally will be good for NVIS, if vertical 2.8dBd gain. Sloping at 45 degrees will provide low angle DX. Max Power 400W CW, 500W PEP. Forward Gain 3.2 dBd max.
7.05 MHz 1.5:1. 21.15 MHz 1.7:1. 28.02 MHz 1.1:1. Dimensions of overall loop 40.56m. Three equal sides 13.52m.
Four equal sides 10.14m. Radiating wire Poly flex weave non kink. Feed Point Balun 4:1 HP. From humble beginnings making TV antennas in the garage, Terry spotted a gap in the CB market with most kit imported from America.
During the'80s the market really took off and Paul joined his father, moving to their first premises and creating Sigma Euro-Comm Limited. Through listening to our customers requirements, we're constantly looking at how we can improve and innovate our CB offerings and now boast one of the most extensive range of CB antennas, supplying to both end customers and trade partners across the globe. Despite our growth, all our products are still made right here in our factory in the heart of Birmingham....
Just a much bigger site to the one we had back in 1990! These are some of the most common questions we get asked by our customers. How do I protect my antenna from the elements? We always recommend protecting any exposed areas of your antennas, such as the UNUN box, with tape or another waterproof material. The sea air and extreme cold will over time have a detrimental affect on exposed areas. Do I need an ATU for my antenna? Many of our antennas will perform much better with the use of an ATU. We do have antennas that will need an ATU such as the X-80, HF-360 and HF-360XP.
How do I mount my antenna? Vertical Antennas: Work best when mounted on a short metal pole at ground level. You can mount 10 - 20 feet up but the higher you mount, the further away the antenna moves from it's natural earth. CB Mobile Antennas: Our Stinger antennas will require a mount depending on how you wish to mount it. All items prior to despatch will be thoroughly inspected and a return will only be accepted if the item is received in the same condition.
